I am a wife.
A mother of five.
A daughter, a sister, a friend.
But above all, my identity is found in Christ.
For it's no longer I that lives, but Christ who lives in me.
My identity is not found in who I married, although I wed quite the catch, my friends.
My identity is not found in my role as mother, although I find such joy in my children.
My identity is not found in what I do.
Mothering.
Mothering.
Diapering.
Birthing.
Writing.
Painting.
Writing.
Painting.
Drawing.
Creating.
Baking.
Singing.
Reading.
Cleaning.
But in Whom I believe.
For in Him we live and move and have our being.
{Acts 17:28}
